To provide you with some professional context, I’m the current Social Editor for a lifestyle publication called InsideHook. Everyday I am looking through our web content inkling at how to make it viable for our social channels.

When I’m not doing that I’m thinking up social-first series that can live on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

Social aside, I also contribute to our written output. From long-form travel pieces to first-person product reviews I’ve covered many beats.

I am from Toronto (🇨🇦) and moved to New York to attend grad school (🦁🗽) in 2022. In between graduating from Columbia University’s Journalism School and stepping into my current role I lived many lives. Previous roles include having worked for a documentary organization, written about art gallery shows in Manhattan and flexed my techie muscle by working the broadband beat.

At the end of the day the medium I gravitate towards is social. It’s where most of us get our information from nowadays (for better or for worse) and I want to be a part of making it a safe and enjoyable place.
